We travelled up to Coon Rapids, MN for Memorial Day. It was my goddaughter's birthday. She turned the big 2 and boy was she excited!
Aiden was really excited to see
Zoey and play at her birthday party. He was a little bummed, because last year he was able to help
Zoey open her gifts. This year, she was such a big girl, that she didn't need any help. I don't think I need to tell you how hard it is for a 3 1/2 year old to just watch! :)
Kiera was pretty subdued the whole time, (she had a pretty good cold going). But she did really like playing in the sand table with
Zoey and
Aiden.
Aiden said his favorite part of the birthday party was the cupcakes. When I asked
Kiera she got a funny little smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye and said, "
MMMMM." Not sure what that means, but thanks
Zoey for a great time!

yeah, the shot of zoey and k at the end is pretty classic. i'm so glad judy's crew lives within distance and the kids get along well. hopefully they remain good friends after they pass the days of sand tables and cupcakes.
this blog sure has been a treat in and of itself.
We were so happy that you and the family could share Zoey's big day with us--she is still talking about her party. I love the picture of Kiera and Zoey--They are too cute! I am glad that Aiden liked the cupcakes and he did such a nice job letting Zoey open her gifts--I know how hard that must have been. Hope to see you all again really soon!
