Yes, that is right! Josh is now 30! I can gleefully say that he is out of his 20's and joined me in the 30's! YIPPEE! My parents came up to celebrate with us and to help with the kids as we got some things done around the house. We picked out and planted 2 trees and painted the laundry room on Sat. We also were able to take advantage of them being here and went out to dinner and a movie! I think that it may well be over a year since I actually have seen a movie in the theater. That is way too long!
Aiden knows his Daddy well, and all on his own decided that Daddy needed a new travel coffee mug (which he did!). I ran with that theme and the kids gave him a coffee grinder, travel mug, and some yummy Caribou Coffee. For those of you who know Josh, it won't come as a surprise to you that we picked one out that is very "sippy cup" like. He actually has to push and hold a little button for any liquid to come out! :) Aiden decided it was perfect!
Aiden and Kiera helped Daddy blow out his birthday candle. Since I was afraid 30 candles wouldn't fit on our little ol' cake, I got one big candle with the number 30 on it!

Saturday we planted the trees, and Aiden was such a great helper digging the hole!

Kiera's first bite of corn on the cob! She took a couple of bites and then was done. We tried to cut it off the cob for her, but then it actually too much resembled a vegetable and there was no way it was going in her mouth! 
She might not eat it, but she really did enjoy husking the corn with Grandma and Grandpa. Aiden did too! They are such good helpers.
