Adventures of the M&Ms: Happy 2nd Birthday Kiera!

Kiera was born at 8:13 AM on September 7, 2005. She was 20 inches long and weighed in at a whopping 10 lbs. 15 1/2 ozs.!!! I can't believe 2 years have already passed since that wonderful day when she joined our family. She is such a happy, joyous, funny little girl. She laughs, makes jokes, and makes believe. She gives great big hugs and really, really boisterous kisses! :) She thinks she needs to be the center of attention at all times, and being the youngest, and a little princess to boot, we generally give her the attention she sooooo loves. She adores her big brother, Aiden, and he adores her too. She can be very stubborn and independent. But she is also the sweetest little thing and so kind. We love her very much and are so blessed that she is part of our family!

Aiden gave Kiera two My Little Ponies for her birthday!

Josh and I gave Kiera a birthday card with the Little Mermaid on the cover. When she opened it up for the first time she was quite surprised and very excited. It started playing the song Under The Sea. She loves her card. She carries it around quite often, opening and closing it to hear the music.

Kiera finally got the present unwrapped with a little help from big brother, Aiden. It is a high chair for her babies!

Kiera's big gift from Josh and I was a Cozy Coupe. She really likes it, and so does Aiden! He kept insisting that it was Kiera's birthday present, but it was his too. We have so ingrained sharing toys into his head, and that most of the toys belong to both of them, that he was carrying that exact thought over to all of the gifts that Kiera received!

Aiden was very concerned that Kiera was going to blow out the candles before we were done singing Happy Birthday to her. That is why he is holding his hand out in front of her. Despite the serious looks on their faces the last couple of pictures, they both really were very happy and excited! :) Fire is just a really serious thing you know!
