O Christmas Tree!

A couple of weeks ago, the kids helped us pick out our real Christmas tree. They were very excited and really wanted to put the ornaments on the tree. The first night the tree went up. The second night they helped put the lights and garland on the tree. Then a couple days later, Josh hauled the Christmas decorations up from downstairs and we found our ornaments. The kids were beside themselves with excitement. I started to painstakingly select the ornaments that I thought we should put on the tree, but the kids were faster at putting them on the tree than I was at choosing and getting the hooks ready for hanging. Kiera chose one spot on the tree and kept hanging each ornament in the same general vicinity,(really the same branch), and Josh would stealthily sneak in and put those ornaments in different places on the tree. Aiden did a little better, but we were definitely a little bottom heavy! The kids were so fast that by the time I got all of the ornaments ready, there were very few for me to hang up! We had a fun time decorating the tree and the house for the Christmas season!
