Presents, friends, shaving cream, and goofiness

Aiden has been super excited about Santa this year. He visited our house last night since we are going to be gone on Christmas Eve. Aiden insisted that we leave the front door unlocked so Santa could get in. Of course, when Josh and I went to bed I locked the door, and Aiden didn't notice when he woke up this morning. Kiera goes around saying, Santa say, "Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas!" And they both were very impressed with seeing Santa and sitting on his lap. Kiera was very serious the entire time she was on his lap, and when it was time to get off, she looked at me, quite alarmed, and said, "Nooooo! Santa!" I told her it was time for someone else to have a turn and she could give Santa a hug. I guess that soothed her enough because she hopped down, gave Santa a big hug, and grabbed my hand on the way out.

We had lots of fun this week. We opened presents with Jadyn, played with shaving cream, did silly things, and had our Christmas with Josh's parents, his sister, Amanda, and her husband, Josh.

As Aiden says, "Merry Christmas, and to all a good night!"

I was waving at them to get them to try to all look at me, and Jadyn and Kiera started waving back. Silly nuts!

Shaving cream fun!

Aiden decided to use the shaving cream like Daddy does!

Pretty girl! Look at that hair! Holy cow! I don't know what we will do with that once she gets older! :)

Kiera decided to try to get into the shopping cart. We heard her whining for help, but I grabbed the camera before I helped her out! Of course, she cooperated and stopped whining to throw me one of her gorgeous smiles!

Monkey see, monkey do! One of Aiden's favorite phrases lately seems to be, "But Kiera taught me that!"
One of their favorite things to do each night is run around in their underwear before they get their pajamas on. I was wrapping presents and they grabbed on of the empty boxes and started racing. Aiden didn't get very far here with Kiera doing the pushing! :)

Grandma and Grandpa Derr got him a scooter. A little big for him right now, but before we know it, he will be tooling around on it!
