Snapshots

These next couple of pics came from the joint family birthday party that we had for Aiden and Kiera. The pictures from the party were only okay, and I have posted a multitude of birthday pictures already, so I wasn't planning on posting any at all. However, the following two pictures, although not wonderful, totally sum up our two children in a snapshot.

Aiden - the quiet, shy, sweet, gentle, contemplative boy. He is always thinking, thinking, thinking. Loves his friends and family, but doesn't always know how to express his excitement and joy when he sees them. So, what you see is a very quiet and serious kid, when on the inside he is jumping up and down like crazy! All of his emotions are kept inside.

Kiera - the dramatic, flashy, exuberant, bold, expressive, loving girl. Goes big with just about everything. Including her voice. If we could teach her to whisper, I will be amazed! She, on several occasions has literally knocked down her friends with her big exuberant hugs (sorry James). Her facial expressions and body language are completely hysterical. She shows all emotions on the outside.

Charlie and Aiden - contemplating their socks? Comparing fit, style, color? This is my boy. He was excited to see Charlie, and went and sat down beside him. Only to sit quietly, enjoying the peace and quiet, and apparently socks.

The picture is awfully dark, but this is Kiera...she means business. Look at the attitude in her walk, expression, and of course, the way she dressed up to open presents. All take charge as she drags her present to the opening area.

those are wonderful pictures. It has always amazed me that you can have kids grow up in the same house, same rules, same circumstances, same parents, and they turn out so differently. Cute, cute pictures and captions. De Ann
