Patches

We had the privilege to house Patches for the weekend at the end of March. Who is Patches, you ask? Patches is the cute little guinea pig from Aiden's preschool classroom. That's right, his class pet! So we did our best to make the little rodent quite comfortable.

Aiden and Kiera LOVED having Patches around. They spent much of their time peeking in her cage, holding her, and begging to feed her. I, thankfully, got out of actually ever having to hold, or picking up the furry little ball. I am not a real big fan of rodents.

Everything went well...except the time that Josh left Kiera alone on the couch with Patches. Patches squirmed loose, and was free on our couch. Kiera blocked Patches with her body as she called Josh for help. She did such a good job keeping Patches on the couch. However, Josh did not get there quite in time to save the couch cushion from getting christened by Patches. Yep, you got it, she peed. (sigh). Ah well.
